Nearly every Tuesday evening for the past seven years, the TALKIN' BLUES HOUSE BAND has opened the Talkin' Blues show. Headliners visiting us from abroad have listened with admiration and respect – including many top acts from the USA. Some were so impressed they invited the House Band to back them up at Talkin' Blues. Thus, over the years, the band has played alongside such prominent artists as LUTHER ALLISON, JOHNNY COPELAND, CALVIN OWENS, CHICK WILLIS, ANGELA BROWN, SYDNEY ELLIS, BIG JAY McNEELY and KEITH DUNN. The TALKIN' BLUES HOUSE BAND is a modern, versatile blues band capable of playing just about any style of blues you've ever heard of. Their first CD is in the works. It was recorded live at the Küppers Klub on the 13th and 14th of October, 1998 and will be the first release on the new "BEST OF TALKIN' BLUES" series of CDs.
